Spontaneous Get-away

I'm blogging from Mackinaw City right now!

On New Years Day around 4pm, R made the comment, "I wish we were in Mackinaw right now." I couldn't agree more! So we hopped on the net and found a room for 3 nights at a complete steal. (This whole mini-vacation will only be costing us a fraction of our cancelled trip to Chicago.)

I'm planning on doing a complete trip re-cap on Sunday.

(P.S. Check out my "nike mini" at the side of the blog - I was able to get in a four mile run here at the hotel gym this morning! My eating has been sub-par but at least I'm still getting in my scheduled runs...)
